AI Operations Analyst

About the role

This role is focused on AI Operational Governance, AI Application Support, and Portfolio Management rather than hands-on AI/ML engineering. The ideal candidate will support the organization in managing AI applications and use cases, maintaining governance processes, ensuring responsible AI practices, and coordinating across business, technology, data, risk, and compliance teams. The candidate should have experience with enterprise application support/administration, AI governance, data governance, lifecycle management, reporting, and process automation. Basic Python skills are sufficient; advanced machine learning, model development, or data science expertise is not required. Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the operational management of AI applications and AI-enabled solutions across the enterprise.
• Assist with AI governance processes, standards, policies, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Manage and maintain AI use case registration and intake processes, ensuring required information and approvals are captured.
• Support AI lifecycle management, including onboarding, monitoring, documentation, reviews, and retirement of AI use cases.
• Coordinate with business, technology, data, risk, compliance, and security stakeholders on AI-related initiatives.
• Support Responsible AI practices, including documentation, risk assessment, transparency, accountability, and appropriate governance controls.
• Assist with data governance activities related to AI applications, including data ownership, quality, usage, and compliance.
• Provide enterprise application support and administration for AI-related platforms and tools.
• Maintain AI portfolio information, documentation, status reports, metrics, and governance artifacts.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track AI use cases, portfolio status, risks, approvals, and operational metrics.
• Use basic Python and other automation tools to streamline reporting and repetitive operational processes.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvements across AI governance and portfolio management.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of application or process-related issues with technical teams.
• Prepare presentations, status updates, and management reports for stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure AI-related processes follow established enterprise governance, compliance, security, and documentation standards.
• Demonstrate ownership of assigned AI portfolio activities from intake through completion.
