Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team focused on developing comprehensive data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and predictive maintenance initiatives. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Python, SQL, and data modeling to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and warehouses. Collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams, you will help implement enterprise data platforms that ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility across large and complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Python-based workflows, models, and pipelines to integrate data from Maximo and GIS sources.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data warehouses using SQL to support business reporting and analytics.
• Create and maintain entity relationship diagrams (ERDs) and comprehensive technical documentation to promote strong data governance.
• Ensure ongoing data quality, integrity, and availability through automated testing, validation, reconciliation processes, and best data engineering practices.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, analysts, business stakeholders, and technology teams to deploy scalable data platforms supporting machine learning and predictive maintenance efforts.
