Senior .NET Web Developer (Full Stack, Application Support)

About the role

Two experienced .NET web developers are needed to maintain and support web applications for a state government agency. The role covers full stack development, integration, and day-to-day support for business requests, with a strong focus on secure development and DevSecOps practices. This is a remote role open to current Wisconsin residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support web-based applications built on .NET, ASP.NET, MVC and .NET Core
• Perform front-end and back-end development of web applications and web APIs
• Manage application integrations and respond to business requests
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports and SQL Server stored procedures
• Follow approved lifecycle methodologies, write documentation, and code and test applications
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation
• Embed security controls into the SDLC, including GitHub Advanced Security
• Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities and support security initiatives and incident escalations
• Apply secure development frameworks such as NIST 800-218 SSDF and ISO 27034
• Ensure regulatory compliance of systems
